On March 14, the opening ceremony for 2010 adult higher education students was held at SCUT Eastern Gymnasium. Over a thousand of teachers and students from 20 teaching branches inside or outside SCUT, attended the ceremony.
In his speech to the freshmen, QIU Xueqing, vice president, hoped that students could cherish the school days, and work hard to attain knowledge, foster capability and be more qualified. Representatives of teachers, students, and freshmen delivered a speech respectively.
