On the evening of May 10, the 9th China Art Festival, co-hosted by the State Ministry of Culture and People's Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, grandly opened at the city of Guangzhou. As the only university delegation being invited to the performance fair, School of Arts showed the fruitful results of the many years' art education in SCUT.
China Art Festival is the vital pageant for Chinese culture and arts. It intensively displays the greatest accomplishments and new achievements of the Chinese culture and art course. As the original event of this session, the China (Guangzhou) Excellent Stage Performance Fair will be held at Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center from May 11 to 14. The fair is said to be one with the largest scale ever, the highest quality and the biggest quantity of on-show performances.
The musical works of SCUT School of Arts have received a lot of awards. The original works which were awarded "Wenhua Award", "LU Xun Literature and Art Prize" and "New Symphony Works Prize of the Province" deeply appealed to the audiences. During yesterday's exhibition, 3 performance institutes reached an initial intent of performance with SCUT Youth Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
