On the afternoon of Dec. 9, the unveiling ceremony of Sino-French Engineers Institute co-constructed SCUT and University of Nantes was held at the South Campus of SCUT.

With an integrated training mechanism of '3+1+2', Sino-French Engineers Institute provides students an opportunity to obtain SCUT bachelor's degree and professional master's degree as well as French diploma of engineering after a 6-year study.
It is reported that the students enrolled in Sino-French Institute are supposed to carry on their own specialties study and at the same time receive French language trainings in the first 3 years. In the fourth year, they are expected to attend preliminary professional learning courses, professional MSc programs and intensive French language trainings. In the last two years, the students will take courses in engineer training in University of Nantes or other universities of French Senior Engineers' Union.
