On Dec 1, a 3-member delegation, led by Mr. Ewen R.Cornick, the deputy dean of Canada Canador College of Applied Arts and Technology (CCAAT) visited South China University of Technology (SCUT). QIU Xueqing, vice-president of SCUT met the guests in the Third Conference Room, SCUT.
QIU introduced to the guests the students' exchange program between SCUT and foreign universities, and expressed his expectation that both sides could achieve substantive cooperation in the future. After that, the faculty of College of Continuing Education had a discussion with the guests on the joint training of automobile engines mechanists. The SCUT- CCAAT joint training project is expected to recruit students with high school diploma or that of equivalent education level in June, 2011.
It was the second time CCAAT visiting SCUT. CCAAT is located in the North Bay of Ontario, Canada, a community college celebrated for automobile and aviation maintenance.
