On Nov 16, the South Campus Gymnasium of SCUT saw the last day of Judo competition, Asian Games. Chinese athletes, LIU Huanyuan and WU Shugen, won the championship of female open-weight category and female 48-kilogram class respectively. LI Li, the standing committees deputy director of National People's Congress (NPC) in Guangzhou, came to watch the finals and present medals in the victory ceremony.
After three days' gold drought, Chinese athletes caught the eye of most spectators today. Finally, the two girls lived up to the expectation of Chinese people and won the matches, which made the whole gym boiling with excitement.
