Prof. Michael Goodfellow from School of Biology, University of Newcastle visiting Jinan University

Prof. Michael Goodfellow from School of Biology, University of Newcastle and his assistants Mrs. Roslyn Brown and Dr. Geok Yuan Annie Tan visited Jinan University on November 11. Prof. Goodfellow visited the College of Pharmacy and Natural Medicine Institute in the afternoon and had a meeting with Academician Yao Xinsheng, Prof. Wang Yuqiang, dean of the college and Prof. Ye Wencai, the vice dean. Prof. Goodfellow also gave a lecture to the staff and students on the topic Discovery of Novel Metabolites from Actinobacteria Isolated from Marine Sediments after the meeting. Prof. Goodfellow was hosted by Prof. Lu Daxiang, Vice President of Jinan University.
