On Jun 12, Professor Fan Jianglin from Yamanashi University visited Jinan Biomedical Research and Development Base.
During his visit, Prof. Fan gave an academic lecture on CRP As a Target for Cardiovascalar Disease:Marker or Maker? . He first introduced the characteristics and development process of the pharmaceutical industry in Japan. then focused on the progress of CRP proteins. CRP (C - reactive protein) is a special kind of protein generated by the liver.
CRP is a clinical marker of inflammation and infection. At present, the mechanism for the role of CRP is also in dispute. Prof. Fan s group found that CRP is a cardiovascular disease marker rather than the reason in the transgenic rabbit. Students and teachers benefited a lot from Professor Fan s humorous words and profound knowledge.
