Invited by the first Clinical Medicine School of Jinan University, Prof. Masanori Nagaoka from Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Juntendo University visited Jinan University from May 10 to 14.
On the afternoon of May 12, the university held a ceremony, conferring a visiting professorship on Prof. Nagaoka. Prof. Lu Daxiang, Vice President of the university attended the ceremony. Following the ceremony, Prof. Nagaoka gave a lecture on New Development in Rehabilitation Therapy on Stroke in Japan .
During the visit, Prof. Nagaoka was also met by leaders from the International Affairs Office and the 1st Clinical Medicine College to discuss signing agreements between the two universities to conduct staff and student exchange, as well as joint research. The two universities are going to sign a formal academic cooperation agreement soon.
The Juntedo University was founded in 1838. It has been the center for western medicine education since its establishment and made great contribution to the spread and development of western medicine in Japan.
