Nanjing University (NJU) on September 25 held the Inauguration Ceremony for Undergraduates of the 2009 Intake on Xianlin Campus. Upwards of 3,500 freshmen attended the ceremony.

In his welcome speech at the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Chen Jun, President of Nanjing University, encouraged the students to carry forward the NJU spirit and campus culture and contribute to the cause of building NJU into a world-class university.

The students take an oath to study hard and win honor for NJU and the motherland.
