In the 4th issue (2010) of Science of Science and Management of S.&.T. published recently, the report concerning 2010 Chinese universities evaluation is delivered by China Management Science Research Institute. In this evaluation, Jiangnan University is ranked 58th, 10 ranks higher than last year. This evaluation, based on the previous experience, gives up all of the questionnaire survey indicators which are difficult to duplicate, extensively employs the available data offered by education administration authorities, and establishes an open, transparent, repeatable and testable Chinese university evaluation system. In the ranking list, there are altogether 14 universities in Jiangsu Province entering the top 100 universities. Jiangnan University ranks 9th in the 14 universities, which are as follows: Nanjing University, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing Agricultural University, Suzhou University, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China University of Mining and Technology, Jiangnan University, Yangzhou University, Hohai University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing University of Technology, and China Pharmaceutical University.
