Vietnam: Export of aquatic product will amount to $ 5,3 billion but be restricted by food safety

According to the report in Vietnam, the VASEP forecast that the export of aquatic product in Vietnam will amount to 5,300,000,000 US dollars in 2011.
The secretary general in this association indicated that Vietnam has many favorable factors to export aquatic product. But it also has its problem. If aquatic product in Vietnam cannot solve the problem, particularly the food security like antibiotic residue, the export of aquatic product will receive rejection from Quarantine authorities in all countries and a negative influence of public opinion.
