A total of more than 150 artworks are currently on display on the exhibition entitled "Mountains and seas" to reflect the culture and the custom in the city of Fangchenggang. The exhibits cover a wide range and various styles and boast proficient skills, serving as a way to upgrade the cultural appeal of the city.
In November 2009, led by Professor Huang Gesheng, Vice-Chairman of Guangxi Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and President of Guangxi Arts Institute, a total of more than one hundred artists of the Lijiang painting school made a trip to Fanggangcheng for collecting artistic materials. The places they went to covers the corners of the city, such as the port, the construction site, the garden, and the villages and so on. The exhibits fully reflect unique artistic perspectives and outstanding skills of the artists of the Lijiang painting school.
The exhibition opens at Hall 5, 7 and 9 until Dec. 25.
