Mykhailo Guida from Ukraine holds oil painting exhibition

Sponsored by Ukrainian Embassy in China and the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, an oil painting exhibition is currently on display to showcase more than ten artworks created by Mykhailo Guida recently.

Mykhailo Guida is a renowned contemporary painter in Ukraine. The theme of his oil painting includes covers a wide range from history and landscape paintings to portraits and still life paintings. He is honored with the title of National artist of Ukraine and academician of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine. He currently works in the National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture.

As a National artist of Ukraine, Mykhailo Guida has deep passion and emotion with China. Since the 1990s, he traveled a number of cities around China and held lectures and many exhibitions. This exhibition is hoped to display masterpieces of the artist, and his recent works reflecting the strong Chinese customs and appeal.

The exhibition opens at Hall 1 until December, 5.
