Hunan OBI Association Calligraphy Exhibition Opens in Changsha

This exhibition, a concluding report on the achievements made by the Hunan and Changsha OBI Associations over the past five years, has collected over 160 pieces of works and displayed 86 pieces of them. All the works reflect the calligraphic creation of the association members and promote the spread and prevalence of calligraphic arts. The works collection "Calligraphic Source" made its debut at the opening ceremony.

On the morning, the Changsha OBI Association held a new round of election, electing Xie Zhaogang as director and Li Chaoqun, a post-1990s female, as secretary-general. Changsha OBI and Hunan OBI were founded on May and December of 2005 respectively. Some 200 members of the two associations are mainly engaged in the creation and research of OBI, OBI calligraphy and ancient literal arts.
