The summing-up and commendation meeting of the program"Incentive Action of Project Hope-Happy basketball-playing education assistance of Tsingtao Brewery & QSL" was held in Changsha on January 5. The program was jointly organized by the China Youth Development Foundation, Hunan Youth Development Foundation, Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. and QSL Sports Federation Co., Ltd.
At the meeting, 30 outstanding public welfare projects of college students and 10 universities that have launched these projects in Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi and Sichuan provinces were awarded.
There are 6 universities of the first batch in Hunan Province to carry out the program, namely, Central South University, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Xiangtan University, Central South University of Forestry and Technology, and Hunan Institute of Science and Technology. 79 projects have been applied for implementation of the program, among which 22 obtained a total of 200,000 yuan of awards and assistance funds.
