Jinhuang Porcelain Arts Hall Opens in Changsha

Jinhuang Porcelain Arts Hall was opened in Changsha on Dec.31 in an attempt to pass on under-glaze colors porcelain culture and spread Huxiang (Hunan) Culture.

Located in Changsha Bamboo and Wooden Slips Museum, the arts hall was set up by Liling Jinhuang Porcelain Arts Co., Ltd. It mainly exhibits under-glaze colors porcelains and household porcelains. Works on display include under-glaze colors porcelains dating back to the late Qing Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty, porcelains used by Chairman Mao, and representative works of national arts and crafts masters such as Deng Wenke, Chen Yanglong and Song Dingguo.

The hall is to show the world the unique charm of Liling under-glaze colors porcelain, Chen Zhiqiang, general manager of Liling Jinhuang Porcelain Arts Co., Ltd. expressed. Besides, it will promote artistic innovation and further enhance the quality of the Jinhuang porcelain arts by taking advantage of the rich local cultural heritage.

On the same day, Changsha Painting Gallery was unveiled, where 81 calligraphies and paintings of Chen Baiyi, Yang Yingxiu and Zhong Zengya were exhibited.
