During the meeting, Mr. Hu briefly introduced the basic situation and characteristics of the Communication University of China to Professor Kathryn, and reviewed the history of the exchange between the two universities.
The two sides focused on programs such as the higher education leadership training by the Arizona State University, her acceptance of the CUC visiting scholars, and short-time visiting projects by bilateral students during winter and summer vacations. The two sides reached a preliminary tendency to cooperation on the above-mentioned items. In addition, the two sides had a further discussion on a project which was already in the process of negotiation --- 3 years of undergraduate terms plus 2 years of graduate terms without interruption. They planned to further promote the project.
Dr. Wu Xu of the Cronkite School of Journalism came together with the delegation.
