On the afternoon of July 27th, Vice President Ding Junjie met Robert Frank, Executive Vice President of Kent State University of America and his party.

Vice President Ding Junjie first showed a warm welcome to the delegation of Kent State University. After that, he introduced the programs of information dissemination education and MBA education of CUC. He said, Communication University of China is one of the National "211 Project" key universities which is directly supervised by the Ministry of Education. Through unremitting efforts, CUC has formed leading academic disciplines in news media, radio, television and film art , and information science and technology in higher media education across China. These disciplines also are interwoven with each other academically. It ranks first in information dissemination education in China. In recent years, MBA education which takes information dissemination as its feature has developed a lot and contributed a lot to MBA education of China. Both universities would strengthen cooperation in this field and expand cooperative areas gradually.
Executive Vice President Frank spoke highly of the achievement CUC has attained in the field of information dissemination education and some other fields and expressed his sincere expectation to cooperate with CUC. He said, they would start substantive cooperation in MBA education soon to strengthen alliance and expand cooperative area gradually.
After the meeting, Vice President Ding Junjie and Executive Vice President Frank signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Communication University of China and Kent State University of America on behalf of their own university. Main contents of the memorandum includes the establishment of partnership, joint cultivating, exchange of teachers and students and cooperative research, co-publishing papers, co-holding international academic meetings.
Before the meeting, the delegation of Kent State University and Li Huailiang, Executive Vice Dean of MBA School of CUC exchanged views on MBA Project cooperation in detail.
President Assistant Liu Liqun, Executive Vice Dean of MBA School Li Huailiang, Vice Dean of MBA School Wang Dong, Vice Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department Liang Yan attended the meeting.
Members of the delegation of Kent State University also included Executive Director of International Affairs , Dean of College of Communication and Information , Dean of College of Arts and Sciences and Director of China Centre Li Na.
Kent State University of America was launched in 1910. It is located in the northeast of Ohio State of America and made up of 8 campuses covering nearly 5000 acres. Students in school are 38500.This university ranks 3rd in Ohio State and is one of the largest local education system in America. It provides over 300 undergraduate, graduate and doctor majors. For its composite advantages, Kent State University is considered one of the Best Midwestern Universities by Princeton Review for several years. College of Business Administration of Kent State University has acquired AACSB international certification and has several PhD programs, such as Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Accountancy.
