Delegation from the University of Pennsylvania Visits our University

Vice president Tanya Furman led a delegation to visit our university on June, 29th. Vice president Wang Libin had a conversation with the delegation.

The vice president introduced the history of the University of Pennsylvania and its academic and research strengths and advantages. She also introduced the university s graduate and undergraduate admissions policy, foreign students policy, and so on.

Vice president Wang introduced basic information about YUFE, its discipline distributions and the situation of foreign exchange. The two sides discussed cooperative schooling and visiting scholars programs. Both sides reached a consensus to continue to communicate and carry out cooperative projects.

After the meeting, Wang Rong, the secretary of the Party Committee of YUFE, hosted a banquet for the delegation from the University of Pennsylvania. The delegation appreciated the warm welcome. Secretary Wang introduced the disciplines and advantages of YUFE, hoping the two sides could enhance cooperation in these areas.

Founded in 1855, the University of Pennsylvania is one of the top-10 public universities in America. The heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Information and Statistics, and the School of International Business also attended the reception and meeting.
