The Vice President of the University of Victoria, ProfessorAfzal Suleman visited NPU from May 17th to May 19th 2010 to discuss the possible cooperation between NPU and UVic.
Professor Wang Wei, the Vice President of NPU met with Professor Afzal Sulemanat the International Conference Center on May 18th. Professor Wang gave a brief introduction to NPU and the cooperation with NPU s partner universities abroad and hoped to develop more concrete programs with the University of Victoria. Professor Sulemansaid he was very glad to visit NPU, and the purpose was to identify the common interests, and to establish long-term partnership between NPU and UVic for educational programs and research projects.
The Executive Deputy Dean of the Graduate School Professor Li Yulong, and the Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Associate Professor Sun Yu, also attended the meeting.
