NPU Wins First Prize for Originality in Fifth National Undergraduate Intelligent Auto Race

The Fifth National Undergraduate Intelligent Auto Race was held in Hangzhou University of Electronics Engineering from August 24 to 26, 2010. NPU's three teams get access to the final and win the first prize for originality, the second prize for electro-magnet and the excellent paper prize.

The auto race is an event sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance under the College Student Teaching Quality and Educational Reform Project. A total of 800 teams from nearly 300 institutions of higher learning participate in the preliminary contests in six branch contest regions, and ultimately 169 teams from 75 institutions of higher learning get access to the final.

It is also learned that the National Undergraduate Intelligent Auto Race Organization Committee has voted for the agreement that NPU will be the host of the Sixth National Undergraduate Intelligent Auto Race Final in 2011.
