On Oct. 21 Vice President Wang Wei met with the visiting Professor Aled Gruffydd Jones, Vice-chancellor of University of Aberystwyth, the U.K. Mr. Wang Wei extends his warm welcome to his guests and gave them a briefing on NPU, hoping that the two universities will take the opportunity to cooperate in the areas of personnel exchange scientific research and student education.
Mr. Aled Gruffydd Jones briefed his university, wishing to cooperate with NPU in the area of computer science and inviting more NPU faculty and students to come to his university for study.
Present at the meeting are Tang Hong, director of Office for International Cooperation, Sun Yu, its deputy director, Fan Xiaoya, vice dean of School of Computer Science and Engineering, and Professor Shen Qiang, dean of Department of Computer Science at University of Aberystwyth.
