On Nov 29th, International Symposium on Innovation & Sustainability of Structures in Civil Engineering (ISISS) 2009 was held in Shaw Science Building, SCUT, co-hosted by SCUT and State Key Laboratory of Subtropical Architecture Science. Over 200 professionals from more than 16 countries and regions attended the symposium.
The symposium lasted for 2 days, during which participants devoted in-depth discussions to many fields including Research & Application of Innovative Materials to Civil Engineering, Innovation & Development of Engineering Structure Analysis Theory, etc. Lectures were given by 14 specially-invited delegates, including Prof. ZHOU Fulin, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
