On July 29, 2006, Chinese President Hu Jintao inspected CNR Tangshan Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works.
President Hu kindly met with the employees of CNR Tangshan. He inspected aluminum-bodied workshop, superior coach working site, 300 km/h high-speed motor car production line, and testing maglev coach. Hu was interested in the coaches were being building for Kazakhstan, 25T diner cars and special coaches. He asked detail information about 300 km/h high-speed cars, maglev, and products for overseas.
President Hu appreciated the product quality of CNR Tangshan.
