The Transport International Fair of Cuba 2006 (FIT 2006) was held in Havana , Republic of Cuba on September 27th to 30th, 2006. CNR presented the exhibition. The vice-minister of Cuba Ministry of Communication and leader of China Ministry of Railways He Hongda visited CNT stand. They expressed high appreciate for diesel locomotives manufactured by CNR.
134 companies from 20 countries joined the exhibition. They are mainly from Caribbean Sea Area & South America, such as Cuba , Mexico , Venezuela , Brazil etc. and Europe, such as Russia , Spanish, Germany , France etc.
There are many visitors in CNR stand. Featuring large beautiful pictures, brochures, discs and active DVD films, the stand introduced CNR locomotive and rolling stock products to Cuba and Caribbean Sea Area.
During the exhibition, many journalists of television, broadcast and newspaper covered CNT stand and reported it in TV news report. Many people knew that Cuba import 12 Chinese locomotives and came crowded in stand.
CNR locomotives are warmly welcomed by Cuba people. The photo of CNR DF7G-C locomotives are printed in the tickets and badges. Many magazines published pictures and articles to introduce CNR DF7G-C locomotives.
