Zhao Xiaogang Wins Title of National Outstanding Entrepreneur of Seventh Session

On May 24 to 25, the Day of General Assembly for National Entrepreneurs in 2008 was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi. Chairman of China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association Wang Zhongyu, Secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Committee Su Rong attended the General Assembly. Governor of Jiangxi Wu Xinxiong made a speech on behalf of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and provincial government. Over 1,000 entrepreneurs from state-owned, private and foreign enterprises all over the country attended the Assembly.

During the Assembly, all the attendants recalled the journey and great achievements of Chinese enterprises after the implementation of reform and opening up for 30 years, summed up basic experience on reform and development of Chinese enterprises, put forward the goals and tasks of promoting enterprise modernization. National Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the Seventh Session got commendation and awarded Chinese enterprise reform medals for their outstanding contributions to the reform and development of Chinese enterprises over the past 30 years.

With the votes from Vice-Chairman, Executive Director and Standing Director of China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, as well as Chairmen of Enterprise Confederations and Enterprise Directors Associations in various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and central cities, Chairman of the Board, Secretary of Party Committee of CSR Zhao Xiaogang and other 69 were awarded as National Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the Seventh Session.

Zhao Xiaogang also attended the symposium with the presence of some entrepreneurs and made a speech during the Assembly. The symposium was presided by Chairman of China Enterprise Confederation and ChinaEnterprise Directors Association Wang Zhongyu.
