Revamp of the 800,000tpa premium bar rod rolling line of Handan Steel Corporation was completed by CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI). The facility was successfully commissioned on Jan.30, producing 70.0mm premium bar rods using 4 stands of 150mm 150mm billets rolling line and 2 stands finishing lines.
The production line, when rehabilitated, is expected to produce high quality carbon steel and many other types of steel ranging 16.0mm to 90.0mm. The successful commissioning of the line embodies the wisdom and hard work of all the project people involved.
