A delegation of five members from the Pacific National Northwest Laboratory of USA headed by Dr. Doug Ray visited DICP on December 4, 2008.
Prof. LIU Zhongmin, Vice-Director of DICP, had a friendly meeting with the US guests, and introduced to them on the research activities of the institute. After this, the US scientists conducted academic exchanges with the DICP colleagues, giving introductions on research programs of PNNL concerning nano-materials, energy technologies and catalysis. Discussions were carried out between the scientists of the two sides, with common wishes for establishing future mutual cooperation.
The US guests were also invited to visit DICP's Bio-Tech Division, the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis and the Fuel Cell Laboratory.
