Prof. Lin was invited to visit DICP from 12th to 14th of July. During his visit, he was invited to deliver a DICP Anniversary Lecture with the title of "High Temperature Inorganic Membranes for Uses in Energy Production and Carbon Dioxide Capture". The lecturing session was chaired by Prof. YANG Weishen of the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, DICP.
In his lecture, Prof. Lin retrospected the newest progresses in three groups of inorganic membranes (i.e., oxygen permeable membranes, CO2 permeation membranes and hydrogen permeable membranes) and their potential applications in energy production and in capturing of CO2. He also introduced the advances attained by his research team in the research of these membranes.
After the lecture, Prof. YANG Weishen presented to Prof. Lin an Honorary Lecture Certificate in Memory of the 60th Anniversary of DICP on behalf of DICP.
Prof. Lin was also invited to visit certain DICP laboratories and carry out academic exchange with DICP scientists. The laboratories were the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, the Laboratory of Applied Catalysis and the Laboratory of Fuel Cells.
