Deputy Secretary Mei Visits Workers at Huanghua Airport

Mei Kebao, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee visited Changsha Huanghua International Airport and extended his warm greetings of the Spring Festival to workers at various departments, including the airport security department, border defense department, customs department and inspection and quarantine department. Liu Lianyu, deputy director of the Standing Committee of People's Congress of Hunan Province accompanied the visit.

Mei Kebao remarked that security could never be over exaggerated. He hoped that all workers make every effort to strengthen security work and ensure smooth operation of passenger transportation during the Spring Festival.

The new airport terminal building of Changsha Huanghua International Airport, which is going to be put into use on July 1st, 2011, is one of the key projects of Hunan Province. In order to accomplish the construction on time, many workers on the project stay on duty, instead of returning home to get together with their families, to accelerate the construction of the terminal building.

At the construction site, Mei made a close study on the progress of the project. He expressed his concern for the workers. Finally, he hoped they could ensure security and quality of the construction, thus to give a present to the upcoming 90th anniversary of the CPC.
