Secretary Zhou Qiang Met with CSR President

Secretary of Hunan Provincial CPC Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial People's Congress Zhou Qiang met with the group headed by President of CSR Corporation Limited Zhao Xiaogang on the morning of Jan. 30 in Changsha.

Zhou Qiang appreciated the support from CSR to the social and economic development of Hunan Province. Accelerating the new industrialization will continue to be the top priority among tasks concerning modernization of Hunan Province during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. Hunan Provincial CPC Committee and Hunan Provincial Government attach great importance to the development of CSR in Hunan Province and will proceed to back up it.

It is hoped that CSR will keep on giving full play to its advantages of technology, personnel, and network in such fields as rail transportation, electric vehicles, wind power, and electrical information, in a bid to further deepen the strategic cooperation with Hunan Province.

Thanks to the value and support from Hunan Provincial CPC Committee and Hunan Provincial Government, Hunan-based CSR enterprises have realized rapid and sustainable development and increasingly strong competitiveness in key fields, said Zhao Xiaogang. He hoped that more profound cooperation would be established in fields like strategic emerging industries between CSR and Hunan Province.
