Secretary Chen Investigates Social Management Innovation in Tianxin District

From Feb. 22 to 24, Chen Run er, secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, made his first investigation of the year on social management innovation at the grass-roots level.

During the investigation Secretary Chen Run er, talked happily with the citizens enjoying their leisure time in the Xiangyuan Cultural Innovation Park of Tianxin District.

Secretary Chen and his delegation visited over ten communities and grass-roots units, where they inquired about the situation and listened to reports. They had conversations with citizens and listened to opinions of the cadres at the grass-roots level.

Mr. Chen pointed out that we should take social management as a significant event in transforming government functions, upgrading management level, improving people s living standards and promoting scientific development. He also urged all the work to be carried out in line with the principle of people-oriented and service first . In addition, he requested to summarize and popularize the work of social management regularly and make innovations in social management so as to promote harmonious development.
