China Electronics Corporation (CEC), an information technology conglomerate in China, on November 21 signed a memorandum with Dongguan Government in investing 4.5 billion RMB to set up an industrial base in Dongguan.
The project is composed of an around RMB 500 million design base in Songshan Lake and an about RMB 4 billion industrial base in Humen Township of Dongguan. The project will come with a series of services such as production, R&D, storage, raw material supply & delivery, and marketing.
The project is expected to bring a production value of more than RMB 15 billion and sales revenue of over RMB 25 billion a year to CEC. CEC, the biggest state-owned IT company in China, take controlling holdings in 14 publicly-traded companies across the country.
