The fifth Session of the 14th Municipal People's Congress of Dongguan (NPC) which was held last January.
The Sixth Session of the 14th Municipal People's Congress of Dongguan (NPC) will commence on January 16th, 2011 in Dongguan, and last to January 19th.
The Congress will vote for Dongguan Government's budget and Dongguan's plans on economic development this year, and hear reports from the standing committee of NPC of Dongguan and the city's judicial system. It will also vote for drafts raised by members of the Congress.
The People's Congress system is the fundamental political system of the People's Republic of China. The CPPCC is an organization of the united front with wide representation. It is an important organ of multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the CPC.
