SIPG established Yangtze River Logistics Company. The opening ceremony was hold in Shanghai International Cruise Terminal on June 1, 2010. Chairman Lu Haihu and other senior management attended the ceremony. President Chen Xuyuan stated in his speech that The Yangtze River Area is an important economic hinterland for Port of Shanghai as Yangtze River strategy serves as one of the core strategies of our group. The establishment of Yangtze River Logistics Company is a significant decision made by the group. By consolidating resources along Yangtze River, SIPG takes a stride towards making adjustment to the business development model, diversifying the service functions, and exploiting the market resources in Yangtze Delta Region.
