Jack-up Drilling Rig COSL936 delivered for operation

5 January 2010 Hong Kong China Oilfield Services Limited COSL or the Company ; HKSE stock code: 2883; SSE stock code: 601808, the leading integrated oilfield services provider in the offshore China market, says its jack-up drilling rig COSL936 had been delivered for operation on 30 December 2009 in Shenzhen. Mr. Liu Jian, Chief Executive Officer of COSL, Mr, Li Yong, President of COSL, and management from shipbuilding company, CCS and ABS attended the delivery ceremony.
COSL936 is the world-class-standard jack-up drilling rig with capability to operate in waters of 106 meters in depth and maximum drilling depth up to 9,144 meters. It s designed by Gusto MSC and built by China Merchants Heavy Industry Shenzhen Co.Ltd..
Mr. Liu Jian, Chief Executive Officer of COSL said during the delivery ceremony that, the delivery of COSL936, together with COSL937 which was delivered earlier will further enhance the operation capability and market competitiveness for the Company s drilling business and strengthen our leading position in the offshore oilfield services market of China.
COSL936 will be towed to Bohai to commence operation after the delivery.
