Spot Meeting of Ten Big System Engineering of Dalian Tourism Project Construction in 2010 was convened at the Golden Pebble Beach on June 8. After inspecting the project construction of the Dalian Friendship Golden Pebble Valley Club and the Golden Pebble Tang Style International Hot Spring Club, Deputy Mayor Guangtian Sun pointed out that the tourism projects of the Golden Pebble Beach were seized strongly, tightly and mightily. The hot spring project integrated thick cultural content. It provided a demonstration for the construction of high-end tourism projects all over the city. Lijun Yan, deputy director of the Jinzhou New Area Management Committee and the DDA Management Committee, attended the meeting.
In 2010, Dalian confirmed 10 big tourism project system constructions, including the tourism economic zone construction, island tourism construction, the hot spring skiing construction and others. To date, one project has been put into operation and 24 projects have been started. After inspecting two tourism projects in construction at Golden Pebble Beach, the responsible persons of the tourism units of the districts, cities, counties and leading areas respectively reported the construction situation of their tourism projects contained in the ten system engineering at the Beimashanzhuang, Golden Pebble Beach.
There are 10 tourism projects which are listed into the ten system engineering in Jinzhou New Area. They are the Dalian Friendship Golden Pebble Valley Club, the Golden Pebble Tang Style International Hot Spring Club, the Golden Pebble Beach Coastal State Geological Park, the Golden Pebble Beach Culture Expo Square, the Golden Pebble Beach World Culture Sculpture Art Theme Park, the Dalian Yutu Island International Tourism Resort, the Dalian Rhine Coast Resort, the Dalian World Trade Carnival, the Dalian International Cherry Festival and Beach Culture Festival and the Cherry Picking Garden. Presently, these 10 projects are being actively promoted. The Golden Pebble Tang Style International Hot Spring Club will be opened to the public in the next half year. The Dalian International Cherry Festival and the Beach Culture Festival will start on June 16 and July 18.
When delivering a speech, Guangtian Sun confirmed the districts, cities, counties and leading areas in their valuing the tourism project construction and their project promoting work. He said that Dalian s tourist development stress will be put on hot spring tourism, country tour and construction of the tourism economic zone. Later, Liaoning Province specially convened the Spot Meeting of Accelerating Development of Hot Spring Tourism. Provincial Governor Zhenggao Chen attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Chen required that all the areas should tightly seize hot spring tourism and construct Liaoning into the biggest hot spring tourism province of China. Therefore, this spot meeting was also a promotion meeting to implement the spirit of the Spot Meeting of Accelerating Development of Hot Spring Tourism. Guangtian Sun required that the districts, cities, counties and leading areas should comprehensively promote the ten tourism project construction system engineering of Dalian in 2010, seize the projects progresses and construction quality, and improve the tourism quality of Dalian. It should enlarge tourism business invitation, contain the tourism business invitation into the domestic and foreign business invitation scope, choose large enterprises and experienced enterprises to develop the tourism projects, and stimulate the rapid development of the Dalian tourist industry.
