GDUT Delegation Visits French and Polish Universities

The GDUT delegation headed by Secretary of the Party Committee Prof. Su Yifan paid its visits to University of Caen Lower-Normandy in France and Krakow University of Technology in Poland from October 12 to 19. Agreements of intercollegiate cooperation were achieved between GDUT and each of the two Universities. President for International Affairs Ms. Caroce Dormer, Director of Language Center Mr. Patrick Dudois and Director of the Bank Assurance Institute Mr. Christophe Alleaume met Prof. Su Yifan and his colleagues during their stay in University of Caen Lower-Normandy. The two sides had a cordial and friendly conversation. The delegates saw the campus. An agreement of cooperation was reached. During their stay in Caen, the delegates also participated in the first ??Chinese Economic Financial Forum?? held there. The University of Caen Lower-Normandy was the only key university in Lower-Normandy Province. It endeavored to develop exchange and cooperation with Chinese universities. Until now, it has received quite a lot of Chinese students.
During their stay in Krakow University of Technology, Prof. Su Yifan and his colleagues met the President??s Representatives Ms. Krystyna and Professor Renata and had a conversation with them. The two sides introduced the situation of their university management and international communication to each other and had an intensive communication on the exchange and cooperation between the two Universities. The delegates visited the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, the Department of Civil Engineering and the related Labs. An agreement for academic cooperation was achieved. Krakow University of Technology was a public university with a history of more than six decades. The University ranked high among Polish universities. The University was located in Krakow, the famous historical and cultural city in Poland. The delegation also visited some other famous universities, including Jagiellonian University.
