On the morning of April 21 2010, two professors from Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology-Professor Lin Ruimin, Director of Office of Research and Development and Professor Fan Guoshu, Dean of College of Engineering visited our university. Vice President Professor Zhang Li met the guests.
Professor Zhang welcomed the two professors and introduced the relevant situation of our university to them. She fully affirmed the substantial cooperative achievements between the two universities on exchange of staff and students and made constructive suggestions in deepening bilateral exchange and cooperation.
Professor Lin and Professor Fan expressed the hope that through this visit the two universities could expand the scope of cooperation. Ms. Fang Lingling, director of Office for Hong Kong, Macao & Taiwan Affairs Office and Mr. Sun Shuiyu, Secretary of Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering attended the meeting.
After the meeting, Mr. Sun showed the guests round the laboratory of Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering and made discussion with them on specific joint research cooperation details. Through the visit, the two sides also made an agreement on future expansion of student and teacher exchanges in engineering area.
