The summer camp co-organized by Hong Kong Vocational Training Council and GDUT opens on GDUT campus on August 25. University President Prof. Zhang Xiangwei extends his warm welcome to students and teachers joining the camp from Hong Kong at the camp opening ceremony.
Referring to the achievements made by Chinese athletes in Beijing Olympic Games, Prof. Zhang begins his speech by giving a brief yet concise introduction to the renowned Guangzhou city and the University. Over the past year, GDUT has been deepening it cooperation with universities and institutes in Hong Kong, with VTC in particular, adds the president. The two institutions have set up a joint training center in the university, and has yielded a series achievements in training.
The summer camp this time is another step during the cooperation process.
