Recently, upon the invitation of SCAU, a delegation headed by Dr. James Yoko, Vice-Chancellor of University of Goroka (UOG), Papua New Guinea came to visit SCAU. Vice President Liao Ming met with the guests and extended his warm welcome to them. Both sides introduced the basic profile of the university respectively, especially on instruction and research in general. Heads from Office of International Relations gave a brief account on setting of curricula and students admission to the guests. Dr. Yoko said that SCAU was a prestigious university which enjoyed high reputation, and he hoped that UOG could further strengthen cooperation with SCAU, including faculty and students exchange programs and so on.
During the talk, Vice President Liao Ming signed the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOU) with Dr. Yoko on behalf of SCAU. This was the second time that SCAU entered into relationship with universities of Papua New Guinea after signing the Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Vudal in March 2009.
