SDJTU Delegation to South Africa Returned

At the invitation of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), South Africa, Shandong Jiaotong University Delegation headed by President Tan Xiaofang attended the Eighth International Conference on the Science, Engineering & Technology and Management of Innovation (SETMI) and SA-China Transport Technology Forum, which was hosted by Southern Africa-China SET and E Association, Tshwane University of Technology, from Nov.23^rd to 30^th.

During their stay in South Africa, President Tan met Nevhutalu, Vice-President of TUT. The two parties hold a discussion on strengthening the cooperation of scientific research and teachers and students exchange.

The delegation also visited Boland College and Stellenbosch University. Cooperation Framework agreement For Sister Relationship Between Boland College (South Africa) And Shandong Jiaotong University (China) was signed when they were in Boland Collge. According to the agreement, the two universities will facilitate the following activities in particular: establishment of a Confucius Class in Boland College, exchange of teaching and research staff, exchange of students, joint research and so on.
