In the morning of 10th, April, Peter Van Dam, Director of School of Life Science, Engineering & Design from Saxion University of Applied Sciences came to visit our university. Vice President Gu Yizhong met with the guest in the Conference Room on the fourth floor. He expressed his warm welcome and briefly introduced SDJTU. Director Peter Van Dam also briefed his university and school, the policies on the recruitment of exchange students and international students. Also, he expressed the will to develop cooperation between the two sides. Later, VP Gu showed the guest around the campus. Principal from the International Office also took part in the activities above.
Saxion University of Applied Sciences is among the largest of its kind in Netherland, and its origin dates back to 1875. Nowadays, it has 13 schools and 5 centers of expertise. And its student population has reached more than 20,000, among which over 1000 are international students from 27 countries and regions.
