Recently, ZFU Mental Health Education Center has paid close attention and taken quick action to the potential psychological perplexity among students regarding to the epidemic situation of influenza A (H1N1).The thorough and ordered psychological consultations have made in connection with different student groups.
All the staff of the center were convened for an emergency meeting, making an all arrangement for the mental defense against influenza A (H1N1). An Emergency Plan for Mental Crisis Intervention of Influenza A(H1N1) has been established, as well as a Seven One program, which means one to one psychological support, one contact card, one leaflet, one hotline, one lecture, one newspaper, and one work report everyday. Various ways of psychological consultation were adopted to help the students. In connection with those students who got confirmed diagnosis and separated, a contact card of Mental Health Education Center has been sent to them, so that it s easier to get in touch with when in need. Meanwhile, the center provides them one to one psychological support initiatively.
Dealing with normal students, an investigation of mental crisis for influenza A(H1N1) has been launched among them. Students can consult through hotline and internet, and psychological support will be provided to those who have suffered under mental crisis. Besides, the utilization of leaflets, publicity column and newspaper would largely help the publicity of prevention and control for influenza A (H1N1), and raise the sense of cure as well as the capability of mental adjustment.
