December 4, 2010. The first large-scale job fair was held on Wujing Campus for Changzhou University graduates. Over a thousand job opportunities were offered by big companies from Changzhou and neighboring cities.
CZU Center for Employment Education investigated the employment situation in petrochemical industry and Changzhou region and enquired the expectations of graduates before it arranged this job fair. The Center will organize more job fairs in a variety of industries at different levels and stages. Meanwhile, all faculties at CZU will hold some small-scale job fairs to facilitate graduates in seeking employment.
Chen Quiqing, Vice President of CZU, appeared at the fair to enquire the needs of employers, instructed graduates on correct attitudes toward job-hunting and boosted their confidence in finding a satisfactory job. Heads who are in charge of student affairs from all faculties and relevant departments also showed up to give more instructions.
