SIFT Student Won Second Price of China-Australia Friendship English Contest

On 8th November, the 7th CHINA DAILY ECNU-ACC Cup China-Australia Friendship English Contest (East China) was held at Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Pan Xianglong, a senior undergraduate from SIFT, majoring in business English, won the second price after fierce competition of prepared speech, impromptu speech and Australian knowledge quiz. Professor Long Maozhong from the School of Foreign Languages for International Business prepared him for this contest.

Students from 27 colleges and universities of East China participated in the contest. The contest aimed to deepen students' understanding of Australia and to promote the popularity and development of Australian research.
