President of Hogeschool Zeeland visited SMU

On Sept. 29, Prof. Peter van Dongen, President of Hogeschool Zeeland and Frank Audenaerde, Director of International Cooperation Division visited SMU. Prof. Yu Shicheng, SMU President warmly received the guests.

President Peter van Dongen said, Hogeschool Zeeland was satisfied with the performances of the 53 SMU students studying in Hogeschool Zeeland and they will do their utmost to provide the students with advanced educational resources and learning environment.

Before the meeting, President Peter van Dongen and Head Frank Audenaerde had a meeting with representatives of students majoring in Sino-Dutch Mechatronic Engineering College. From the meeting with students, hey knew the learning and living condition of the students and answered to the questions about the Sino-Dutch cooperative projects raised by students.

Since September, 2007, Hogeschool Zeeland and SMU had jointly organized two 3 plus 1 cooperative projects in level of Bachelor s, namely Mechatronic Engineering and Electric Engineering and Intelligent Automation.
