Lecture in Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of Chopin's Birth

On October 20, sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Library, Organized by SMU, a lecture titled Romantic Pianist and Poet: Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of Chopin's Birth was given at SMU. Over 400 SMU postgraduates attended the lecture.
The speaker was Mr. Wang Yong, who was honored as The best musician among moderators and the best moderator among musicians . He humorously made a brief introduction on Frederic Chopin s stories and his musical talents. Later on, listening to the music by Chopin, students felt fallen into the beauty and charms of the fine art.
Mr. Wang Yong had been a DAAD funded scholar. Currently he serves at Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
