Dr. Li Hao, Mexico Consul General in Guangzhou, visits SYSU
On the morning of December 2nd, Dr. Li Hao, Mexico Consul General in Guangzhou visited SunYat-senUniversity. President Huang Daren received the distinguished guest and had a cordial talk with the guest at the VIP Room of Zhongshan Building.
President Huang Daren talked about the recent development of scientific research and teaching of SunYat-senUniversity, particularly the construction of ConfuciusCollege co-built with MexicoYucatanAutonomousUniversity. Dr. Li introduced the long history of culture of Mexico. And then, he emphasized the important role played by Mexico Consul in Guangzhou in the academic communication and business exchanges between Mexico and China and also appreciated the communicative activities in language and culture in Mexico organized by the Confucius College of SYSU. Finally, Dr. Li showed his willingness to further promote the cooperation and communication between MexicoUniversities and SYSU during his tenure.
Dr. Li Hao entered Mexico Department of Foreign Affairs in October, 2000 and assumed the office of Mexico Consul-General in Guangzhou since January, 2010. It is the first time for Dr. Li to visit SunYat-senUniversity.
