Gafurov Meets with Li Lanyi and Promises Further Support

On the afternoon of October 25^th, Ilshat Gafurov, Rector of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University KFU has a meeting with Li Lanyi, new Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute of HNU. Gafurov gives high praise to the achievement of Confucius Institute and grants to increase support for the construction and development of Confucius Institute, to which both sides have great confidence. Dzhamil Zainullin, Russian Dean of Confucius Institute, attends the meeting.

In the middle of October, with the coordinate efforts of the two sides, KFU adds new classrooms to Confucius Institute, which has laid a good foundation for the further development of CI.

Li Lanyi arrives at the university on October 23^rd to take on her new job with a term of 2 years. On the afternoon of October 24^th Moscow Time, Li Lanyitake over the job from Gao Rongguo, former Chinese Dean of CI. She expresses her sincere appreciation to the contribution Gao has made to the development of CI and promises to do her best to develop CI onto a new level.
